About The Practice

The mission of the practice is to fulfill a major short-coming in the medical care of elderly patients: a comprehensive approach to elder’s physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

The nationwide shortage of geriatricians limits many patients from accessing care from physicians with geriatric-specific specialty training and experience.

Elder Health Review provides an unhurried assessment in the patient’s home with the aim of addressing major concerns of the patient and/or family members.

Whom does the practice serve?

There are two major groups that Elder Health Review serves:

  • Independent seniors who wish to be pro-active in their own care and future plans.
  • Seniors who are facing issues that lead to decline in their well-being and/or function.

Consultations are performed by Dr. Dellara Terry, MD MPH, a Harvard-trained, board certified internist and geriatrician (physician who specializes in health care for the elderly) with over 10 years of clinical experience.   Dr. Terry also has over 10 years of experience in research focused on successful aging.  She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
